Here's a little teaser video and some context on what the "Christmas Update" is:

It's another "demo" where you just explore, collect items and that's it. I don't want to reveal any story, but I'd like to showcase through playable demos what's been fixed bug wise, and whats been added. 

Here's what it isn't: It is not a complete game, it will have bugs. It won't have any story or objectives, it's simply a sandbox for you to run around and collect stuff.
